What’s better than a dinosaur? Two dinosaurs! Knit two of our most popular downloadable dino patterns at a reduced price; a chubby Stegosaurus and a cute baby Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Knitted from chunky yarn, these dinosaurs are lovely designs for knitters who have mastered the basics. To knit these dinos you will need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl and work increasing and decreasing stitches.
Worked on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, there is no knitting in the round needed to make these.
Chubby Stegosaurus: Soft and cuddly with pink cheeks and orange spikes, you can knit him from any chunky yarn you have in your stash but we recommend Stylecraft Special Chunky in Aspen and Spice (shown in picture). When finished, this toy measures 32cm long and 22cm tall and stands up by himself.
Baby T-Rex: You can use any chunky yarn you like, but we suggest just over half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Aspen (1422) and just over half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky For Babies in Baby Blue (colour 1232). Approximately 32cm / 12.5" tall, T-Rex stands up by himself when completed.
