Welsh Mountain Sheep Knitting Pattern

Full knitting pattern for the popular Welsh Mountain Sheep toy, inspired by the cheeky sheep of our nearby Pen-Y-Fan mountain.

Learn to knit texture with this pattern and make your own cuddly sheep. This knitting pattern has been designed for knitters with just a little experience and uses soft chunky yarn and three types of contrasting knitting stitch to make the sheep. Step-by-step instructions take you through how to knit the textured stitches.

To make this sheep, you will need: a ball of Wendy Purity yarn OR a ball of Hayfield Bonus Chunky in Light Natural, 4mm straight knitting needles, darning needle, and toy stuffing.

Sheep measures approximately 23cm x 14cm when knitted up.

    After buying and knitting the Welsh Mountain sheep pattern, I added some features, such as two extra legs, a tail and eyes. Unfortunately there is no space for pics here, which I would gladly share
