Knit a family of cute friendly turtles with this step-by-step knitting pattern.
Knitted flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, there is no working in the round needed for this pattern, and it is suitable for anyone who has mastered the basics of knitting (knit, purl, increasing and decreasing). The bodies, heads and legs are knitted separately then sewn together. The turtles can be knitted from any chunky weight yarn you have in your stash (we used Rico Essentials Mega Wool Chunky in colours 029 Yellow and 018 Fuchsia and Stylecraft Special Chunky in colour 1065 Meadow) You’ll also need some 9mm and 6mm black toy safety eyes (or you can embroider the eyes instead)
