Who doesn’t love a sparkly Unicorn? This new addition to our mythical creatures collection is knitted from glittery dk yarn and is the perfect size for small hands to hold. Worked flat on 3mm straight knitting needles (so no knitting in the round needed) you’ll need to know how to knit, purl and increase and decrease to make this unicorn and his Springtime flower crown.
You can use any white and pink Double Knitting yarn you like to make the unicorn, we used half a ball of King Cole Glitz Dk in Diamond White (483) for the main colour, and just under half a ball of Wendy Peter Pan Dk in Blossom (PD05) for the pink areas (so you should be able to make two unicorns if you have a ball of each yarn)
You'll also need very small amounts of blue, yellow and grey Double Knitting yarn for knitting the horn, bow tie and flowers, and a darning needle, some stuffing, length of black dk yarn for nose and a pair of 6mm black safety eyes with click-on backs (or you can embroider the eyes instead)
