Knit a jolly set of Christmas toys with our newest knitting pattern- instructions are included for knitting a Santa (and his sack) Mrs Claus (with hair in plaits and a red skirt) and a Gingerbread Man.
Made from small amounts of chunky yarn, this set is worked flat on straight knitting needles (so no knitting in the round required). Shaped using basic increasing and decreasing, the pattern is suitable for knitters with just a little experience.
The finished dolls are the perfect size to pop in the top of a Christmas stocking- each measures 23cm tall (to tops of hats)
To make these toys you will need some chunky weight yarn in red, white, gingery and pink (you can use any make you like) and a very small amount of chunky weight yarn in black.

About half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Spice (1711)
About a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador Red (1010)
About half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in White (1001)
About quarter of a ball of Paintbox Simply Chunky in Ballet Pink (352) for the skin tone
Very small amount of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Black (1002)
