This Welsh Dragon brings a pop of colour to your cold-weather knitting. Worked in knit stitch and made in sections, he’s a lovely weekend project.
To make your dragon you will need: Chunky red yarn (we used one ball of Sirdar No 1 Chunky in shade 0214 Red- this yarn has since been discontinued but is still available online and in shops. It can also be substituted by any chunky red yarn you like, for example Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador Red), a pair of 4mm straight knitting needles, toy stuffing, darning needle and a pair of 9mm black plastic toy safety eyes with click-on backs
Easy to knit and super colourful, the dragon measures 30cm tall when completed.
