Easy-to-follow knitting pattern to make a happy teddy in chunky yarn, holding a balloon and wrapped in a textured scarf.
Knitted on 4mm straight knitting needles, this pattern is simple to make and can be knitted in any colour wool you have in your stash. Using only plain and purl stitch, this teddy is perfect to make as a gift for someone special. To knit the teddy you will need: 4mm knitting needles, some chunky yarn for the teddy and small amounts of Dk yarn for the scarf and balloon, scraps of felt, thread, 1 metre of black Dk yarn for the mouth, toy stuffing and a darning needle.

Yarns we recommend for this pattern
- About half a ball of Cygnet Chunky in colour 145 Citrus (but you can use any colour you like)
- Small amount of any DK yarn for the balloon. We used Sirdar Snuggly DK in Tangerine (0489)
- Small amount of DK yarn for the scarf. We used Sirdar Snuggly DK in Sky (0216)
