Get ready for Halloween with our new magical wizard knitting pattern.
This cute pocket-sized wizard in a tall pointy hat comes with his staff and a little toad companion, all included in one easy-to-follow downloadable pattern.
Worked flat on straight knitting needles (no knitting in the round needed), these soft toys are shaped with simple increases and decreases, making this a great project for knitters with just a bit of experience.
Step-by-step instructions illustrated with photographs guide you through knitting and assembly. Designed as a quick project perfect for using up any chunky yarns in your stash, the Wizard measures approximately 22cm/8.66 inches (to top of hat) when finished.
Yarn requirements: Small amounts of chunky-weight yarn. We used a selection of Stylecraft Special Chunky, Paintbox Simply Chunky and King Cole Big Value Chunky yarns, but you can use any similar weight yarns you like.
You’ll also need a pair of 4.5mm knitting needles, some toy stuffing, two pairs of 6mm black safety eyes with click-on backs (or you can embroider the eyes- recommended if making for a child), scraps of felt, cotton, sewing needles, and a length of black Dk yarn for the toad’s mouth
Once purchased, you’ll receive the knitting pattern instantly as a PDF by email.
(Please note: this is a digital knitting pattern, not a physical kit.)
