Our easy to follow knitting pattern takes you through knitting, making up and decorating a cuddly dolly in any colour chunky yarn you like. Fully illustrated, the pattern also includes a complete alphabet template so you can personalise her dress with any initial, making the finished doll a lovely gift.
To make your doll you will need: Two balls of chunky yarn- for the dolls pictured we used a ball of Hayfield Bonus Chunky in Light Natural (Tan) for the skintone and a ball of Hayfield Bonus Chunky In Signal Red and Paintbox Simply Chunky in Pink (colour 350) for the dresses
You will also need: 4mm straight knitting needles, stuffing, darning needle, 1m of black DK yarn for features, and a pair of 9mm safety eyes (with click-on backs)
If you wish to personalise your doll you'll need: sharp sewing needle, white felt and coloured felt to match the dress colour, cotton to match the dress colour, black cotton.
Finished doll measures approximately 27cm tall.
