Knit and make up a big cuddly octopus in coral and white chunky yarns.

This happy guy looks lovely sitting on a bed or a chair and is super cuddly!

To knit your octopus you will need: two colours of chunky yarn (You can use any chunky yarn you have but we recommend Women’s Institute Neon Coral Soft and Chunky Yarn 100g x 3 balls plus Hayfield Bonus Chunky in White x 2 balls *please note the Coral yarn is currently unavailable online, please check you have a suitable chunky pink yarn to substitute it if needed*) long 7mm knitting needles, darning needle, thread, stuffing and grey yarn for eyes.

Suitable for knitters with a little experience, this pattern is a lovely introduction to knitting texture, with step-by-step instructions to knit the bobbly textured legs.

Dimensions: Octopus body measures 18cm tall when completes, legs are 40cm long.

    He’s very very squishy, my son loves him! I knitted one in blue and one in pink from the same make of wool.

    I made my octopus in dk wool instead of chunky wool and he turned out well
