Get knitting for Halloween with our new Titchy Witch. This pocket-sized witch in a big pointy hat and her little cat are both included in our easy-to-follow downloadable pattern.
Made from small amounts of chunky yarn, this pair is worked flat on straight knitting needles (so no knitting in the round required). Shaped using basic increasing and decreasing, the pattern is suitable for knitters with just a little experience.
Nice and simple to knit, the pattern takes you through the knitting and making up step-by-step. Witch measures 23cm tall (to top of hat) Cat measures 15cm tall when finished.
To make these toys you will need some chunky weight yarn in black, purple and pink (you can use any make you like). We used half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Black (1002), small amounts of Paintbox Simply Chunky in Ballet Pink (352) for the skin tone and small amounts of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Lavender (1188) You can also make a plain black-clothed witch if you prefer.
