If you’re a cat person (or you know someone who is) this is the perfect knitting pattern for you!
I love cats so of course I had to design a whole set of them! This pattern has instructions to knit three different colour types of cats and three sets of clothing to mix-and-match and dress them up in: a cute black Tuxedo, a Grey Tabby and a stripy Marmalade cat. Full of cheeky personality, which one is your favourite?
This pattern is easy to follow, with clear row-by-row instructions along with lots of photos to help you on your way and it’s a great introduction to both knitting texture and simple colour working. You’ll need to be able to knit, purl, cast on and off, and increase and decrease to make these cats. All the pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles so NO knitting in the round is needed.
To knit your cats you will need double knitting yarns of your choice in various colours, 3mm knitting needles, a darning needle and some toy stuffing.
Pattern includes full instructions for knitting the three cats along with instructions to knit and make up a top and short trousers, a summer dress and a pair of dungarees and a cardigan to dress them in.
Cats measure about 33cm (13 inches) tall when completed and can be posed sitting or standing up.
