This pattern uses three different types of textured stitch to make the penguin and heart, and the pattern takes you step-by-step through knitting them.
Finished penguin measures 26cm tall.
To make this toy you will need: Chunky yarn in Black, White, Red and Yellow, plus 4mm knitting needles, darning needle, toy stuffing and a pair of toy safety eyes (9mm)
For the yarn we recommend: One ball each of Hayfield Bonus Chunky in Black and White, some Hayfield Bonus Chunky in Signal Red and Sunflower Yellow
(any chunky weight yarn in black, white, red and yellow will also work, yellows such as Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky - Buttercup Yellow (322) OR King Cole Big Value Chunky - Yellow (828) for example)
