Perfect for last-minute Christmas crafting; knit up some cute and cheerful Christmas puds with this easy to follow pattern.
Step-by-step instructions take you through knitting and making up your Puddings with lots of illustrations to help you on your way. Knit them as Christmas table decorations or cuddly gifts for kids! (There’s even a bonus mini pud pattern included so you can knit toys for the cats or baubles for the tree)
To knit your puddings you will need:
- Dk yarns in brown and cream for the puddings themselves. We used a ball of Wendy Supreme Dk in Cream (WD02) and in Mocha (WD19)- you’ll be able to make lots of puddings from these two balls, You’ll also need very small amounts of Red Dk for the berries and Green Dk for the leaves. We used King Cole Big Value Tweed Dk in Berry (153) for the berries and King Cole Glitz Dk in Christmas Green (3307) for the leaves. You can of course use any Dk yarns you like.
You’ll also need:
- A pair of 3mm straight knitting needles
- Toy stuffing
- Darning needle
Suitable for knitters who can cast on, cast off, knit, purl and work increase and decrease stitches. The pattern is a nice introduction to simple colour work.
Puddings measure 12cm tall when finished. Please note this is a downloadable pattern and not a kit. Once purchased, your PDF pattern will be instantly emailed to you so you can get knitting!
